China, one of the countries that can boast of an ancient civilization, has a long and mysterious history almost 5000 years of it! Like most other great civilization of the world, China can trace its culture back to a blend of small original tribes which have expanded till they become the great country we could see as now. Since Chinese take care of ther historical places so well, it will be an interesting point, to going backward, by visiting historical places of China. There is a saying by Winston Churchill : "The further backward ypu look, the further forward you can see."
1. The Great Wall of China
People who considered to visit China, majority planned about visiting The Great Wall of China. Was build for preventing castle during World War II. The Great Wall of China was listed as a Worlds Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. Just like a gigantic dragon, The Great Wall of China winds from east to west of China for about 8.852 kilometres. So The Great Wall of China is not just a words or name, it representeed it greatness.
2. Terracotta Warriors
Terracotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Around 1.5 kiliometres east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mauloseum in Lintong, Xian Shaanxi Province, it is a site that must not be missed by any visitor and traveller who are planning to visit China. Since October 1st 2010, Museum of Qin Terracotta and Horses and Qin Shi Mausoleum have been combined into one area. 30 free shuttle-buses have been available for visitors convenience to travel between Lishan Garden and The Museum of Qin Teracotta Warriors and Horses.
3. The Forbidden City
Lying at the center of Beijing City, Chinese called The Forbidden City as Gu Gong. It was te imperial palace for 24 emperors during the year og Emperor Chengzu in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Ancient Chinese Astronomers belived that Purple Place (Polaris) was the center of heaven and The Emperor lived in the Purple Place. The Palace for Emperor on earth was so called the Purple City and it was forbidden to enter the palace without special permission of the emperor, that's why it called Forbidden City.
